Questo orologio solare monumentale si trova nel complesso astronomico di Jaipur in India. E' tuttora funzionante e la sua particolarità consiste nell'estrema precisione di 20 secondi! Questo complesso fu costruito nel 1680 c.a. sulla base di antichi testi arabi.

In questo particolare si può vedere come ogni tacca corrisponda a 20 secondi.

This monumental sundial is located in the astronomical observatory of Jaipur in India. It's still operating and the most interesting feature is the precision of 20 seconds! It was built around 1680 on the basis of ancient arabian manuscripts.
